Oh, and I guess - not with Villa, and in one case not to watch football - I've visited Queen's Park's new (Hampden) and old (Cathkin Park) grounds.  On the same day.

When I visited ...

... and in it's pomp (well, not quite - but whilst it was still in use ...)

Walsall, Huddersfield, Coventry, Derby, Leicester, Doncaster, Wigan, Manchester City, Bolton, Stoke, Shrewsbury, Hull, Arsenal, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Chester and Reading, plus Villa, Bristol Rovers, Charlton, Wimbledon and Fulham at different grounds.

Didn’t get to Wellington Road then? No nor me for some reason but surely in this day and age it can be computer generated so we can all go there virtually. In fact I’d love to be able to walk around the original Villa Park that way too, and a 1960s version so I can run down the bank at the back of the old Witton End one more time before I keel over.
