Saka finally sees something yellow from the Refs pocket.

Deserved.

The burning question, is Doug’s updated blonde look good for our chances or will it long term be seen as a negative?

He scored that unbelievable goal in one of his early games for us with the platinum hair, so I'm all for it!

Saka is the sort of player that, if I was playing my last game before I retired, I'd give a slap with a few minutes left on the clock. He really needs to stop being such an arrogant little shit.

Ref needs a talking to at half.

Hooper is a good omen . We've never lost in 7 times at Villa Park he's officiated us.

Very good first half overall, bit of fire in the belly, good link up play and 2 excellent goals.

OK good. The worrying thing is we lead twice again Leicester and lost the game and Ollie has scored in both previous matches and not won the game. Come on Villa make it different today.

Yes his reaction given what he did to Moreno was ridiculous.

There really is this agenda in the media to complain whenever Villa do a bit of "game management". It cant be a conscious agenda, because its across all media platforms, & they arent going to simply decide they hate Villa, but it is noticeable from most commentators to bitch about our "game management", yet praise the opposition for doing it while calling it "clever"...

Good to be in the lead.

Arsenal will have heavy legs and not so many options to switch things from the bench so we need to get on the ball a bit and move them about.

Good at least we've got a manager who can run the game down with 5 subs, got some interesting options on the bench to manage this.

Absolutely buzzing for Coots, he needed that. He's going to explode now. That goal will put a spring in his step and a fire in his belly.

What are people making of Captain McGinns half?
Think he's done a few tackles but not seeing him fit in our play.
Seems bewildered. But then so did Ramsey in recent matches.
