I suppose they will ask Mr Emery about Ming's before the game , obviously a late injury.

glad Duran's on bench  👌

Why the duck would you loan out Archer after selling Ings?

We loaned him out before we sold Ings.

Any pre game optimism has evaporated after seeing our first X1. Balance of that midfield is all over the place for me.
Midfield is fine it’s defence and incapability to change the game from the bench that’s worrying.

We loaned him out before we sold Ings.
Then why sell Ings?

Amazed that McGinn isn't starting instead of Bailey ...
Can see McGinn maybe coming on to do a job when ahead and holding out.

Cash and McGinn obviously aren't doing instructions as well and arent trusted to perfom for 90 minutes so have no qualms with the line up even though I champion Ginny to curtail Grealish Emery has set this side up with Bailey to counter and provide goal threat. He scored at Villa Park so has form against Man City

far better to start with McGinn and bring Bailey on when they're tired...
... actually it doesn't matter either way because Bailey is shit and Citeh have plenty in the tank to see off this Villa team

Nice to have a proven goal scorer on the bench….oh ok better with two goalkeepers to be on the safe side.
we only have one keeper on the bench!
Zych and Sinisalo.

Come on Villa! Looking forward to this.

I think Footy could be right. Mings is a huge loss but the team might be able to function in a slightly different way.

I’m not a big fan of Chambers but this is his chance to show he’s capable in the role. I really hope we have dispensed with the playing it out from the back for today.

Sorry Emery hasn't left, so no, there's little chance of that changing we just have the players be drilled to playing it well.
