One thing that really grinds my gears is when defenders celebrate (with the fans) a tackle like it’s a goal. One of the Southampton defenders did it today and I noticed it at the World Cup too.  No.

Sometimes they are just as important as goals….when I played and intercepted a ball it was like scoring a hat trick for me….

Same here, especially if I could leave a bit on the opposition player as I did so.

Utterly cheated by the worthless cheating ****ing ****s officiating today.

Villa cheating every time they got tackled got them the three points despite being by far the worst team we’ve seen at St Mary’s this season.

 Utter ****ing scandal.

That's funny. A street girl rating her customers for their sexual prowess.

Ooh, touched a nerve mate?

She dun't do major credit cards, I doubt she does receipts. It's all not quite legitimate.

There was a push and a slight stamp on Ramsey.  Two fouls in one.  Yeah, a bit soft, but I can fully understand why it was given.  If we can add some pace and creativity before the window closes, we will be pushing for top 8.  Results went for us today too.

We’re three points off 6th, we need add some players and aim higher than 8th.

Yes, I am still fuming. She was dead to me after that.

Igonre the push, that was irrelevant. If you stand on the back of someone's foot like that anywhere on the pitch it's a free kick, forward get that exact foul from defenders almost every game. Just because the ref missed it and had to told to take a look on the screen doesn't stop it being a clear free kick.

That he took about 5-6 seconds to make a decision once he looked at it shows how clear it was. I'm 99% certain that most of the 'it was a soft one' comments are because people think/thought it was given for the push. I fully expect it to come up on Motd and be 'cleared up' as an obvious foul.

Slight stamp? He stood on his heel, boot trodden down, just as the ball is dropping where he was. Big foul

I don't get how often I see Southampton described as a side in form. They've won 1 league game since October and 2 since August. And they were both against shit Bournemouth and Everton sides. A couple of cup victories doesn't cover that are very shit indeed.

They really are dreadful. I saw them in cup v Citeh recently and was impressed. Martinez saves that header from Watkins too, from an Irish pov Bazunu is having a very difficult first season in PL. KWP and JWP are decent, after that it's a struggle for them.

I thought at times we played some lovely football, and I kept thinking how much of a good team we'd be with better players in some of those positions. Our style of play has changed so much since Gerrard went, we look like we are becoming a 'proper' football team.

Brilliant win.
Congratulations to the manager and players for grinding out a deserved win. We rode our luck, played some fluid stuff and our quality gave us the edge to take the 3 points.

Certain players could do with a little improvement here and there but the togetherness, spirit and fight we showed !

Foxes will be shitting themselves after we get a 2 week break, regroup and take them apart at VP at something different called a Saturday 3pm kick off at home.

One of the responses from that Saints site. They seem completely oblivious to the fact that there were a couple of Villa pens that could have been. Certainly one of them. They whine about Watkins being offside, despite not being. And they all happily ignore the fact that their player not only pushed Ramsey, he also kicked the back of his ankle... Talk about being one eyed, lol...

To be fair I reckon all forums are the same, full of one eyed twats. I read the rest of that thread and I am baffled by why they think Watkins was offside when he clearly wasn't. Every team in the country has fans that say 'the refs are always against us' and I always eye roll. I bet there are fucking Man City fans that even say it. I think some refs are weak but I don't think there are conspiracies.

Apart from this one obviously.

I keep a close eye on Wolves as I do have a soft spot for them, due to my late Grandad and old man. However their fans on forums are stark raving bonkers and it’s as if Wolves have been dominating the World of football for the last fifty years.

Shitting foxes are a scourge in major urban areas, the fuckers get everywhere.

Has there been any official comment about the bench? Only naming 8 instead of 9, and two of them being keepers? Why no U21s to make up the numbers? Where was KKH?
