I think we played okay and deserved the win.

Leeds despite their chances never looked like winning.

Very pleasing to see Bailey playing with confidence and getting the goal, and making the second. A bit too nonchalant on the ball in the second half but when he drove at Leeds he gave them problems.

Kamara and Young superb. Mings and Konsa looked solid. Moreno looked very confident considering he's just come in. Emi shithousing them with his time wasting...glorious.

Everyone else did okay.

Not the best performance but a well earned and hard thought win. Very important to get back to winning ways at VP. We want to finish the season strongly. Half way point and 25 points. If we can notch it up another 30 in the second half that would be great going. Project Cup might have gone to shite. Project league is going pretty well.

It's worth pointing out that more than half of our points have come in 6 games under Emery and we're in top 4 form since he arrived.

Dublin is an awful pundit , which i don’t like saying
I don’t mind him at all.  So many bad and dislikeable ones - so a likeable one works for me. They all talk shit and would rather him do it than the others

Great result but we really need to buy some really good players.

There’s only so far we can go with most of these and that’s mid table.

3 points ace. But fuck me that like a game of Hungry Hippos.
That is a perfect summary of the game
Apart from the fact that I somehow didn't type "that *was* like a game of Hungry Hippos. :-)

At least you didn't miss out the 'that' as well.

Under Emery we'd won flowing free, through clenched teeth and through nous and cunning. We'd also lost, wastefully, honorably and humiliatingly to the extreme. Now we can add another type of win to the pile: the win despite ourselves.

Kamara was outstanding tonight so I’m wondering why Sky gave MoM to Bailey??

They were too busy wanking off about Gnonto for them
To be fair, he does look a serious talent.

Chelsea will put a 70 million bid tomorrow

Despite all their possession, Leeds did fuck all with it.  They had 4 shots on target to our 5.  With more composure up top, we'd have put them to bed and avoided the late stress.  Why did their keeper not get sent off?  Martinez made a couple of good saves.  That's what he does.  That's what he's there for.  The fact that he makes it look so easy is just what he does!!  Kamara was outstanding and I want us to sign him his Marseille mate to play next to him.  A useful 3 points, rode our luck a little bit but we continue to learn and develop.  I do hope for another couple of players in.  Moreno was much more settled in the second half and looks a threat going forward.

Funny old game, first half our front four might aswell not have been on the pitch but our CBs were solid. Second half, all the front players improved with Buendia dropping deeper but our CBs, Konsa particularly, went to bits. We badly need Carlos back fit and Konsa/Mings simply aren't able to cope when the opposition presses them. Mings slip on half way line was shocking. Two injuries in first 20 mins and left having to bring Sanson and Coutinho on for a finish meant we were really scraping the barrel but a big win after the debacle last weekend.
Martinez 8 - that save in first half was outstanding. Dominant
Young 8 - brilliant for about 70 mins until his legs went (could Chambers not have come on), covering Konsa throughout
Konsa 5 - fine in first half but really poor in second, indecisive to put it mildly
Mings 6 - solid first half but very lucky to get away with that slip
Moreno 6 - very shaky first half after he came on but saw his quality going forward in second
Luiz 7 - a player that polarises opinion but Tom Daley dive aside in first half thought he was solid and showed leadership in second
Kamara 8 - great assist for first goal and very strong throughout
Buendia 7 - anonymous in first half, dropped deeper in second and far more involved. That header was tricky too and finished it well
Ramsey 6 - same impact as Buendia in first half, more involved in second without any telling contribution
Bailey 8 - great goal and his shot made second, confidence grew in second half, decision making still a bit iffy
Ings 6 - tried hard, missed big chance to finish game after nice pass by Luiz
Coutinho did well actually, Sanson not really involved

Emery 6 - not for the first time it shouldn't have taken until half time to change things tactically. Need to move away from this 442. Struggling for players now.

So relieved to get the win.

Absolutely love Martinez and what a save he made, Kamara is a Rolls Royce midfielder and despite Ash going down easily for the goal he was excellent.

It's Leeds, so no, I will not be fair.
Fair point, well made. Top knot wankers.

Dion has been watching an entirely different game I think.
