Presumably that would be just after he had collided with martinez and injured him in the course of scoring an own goal.

Sanson was bang average as per.

Bailey could have finished his goal.

"As per"? There's been no per-usual to judge him on seeing it was his first start in a year.

Leeds United are winless in their last six games across all competitions (D3, L3).

They have only won two of their last fifteen games across all competitions.

Hello Aston Villa.

Do they have a striker that needs to break a duck/drought/record? If so, he's playing the right team.

Bamford to score 5 then! My tv thrown off the balcony as he wheels away in celebration!

Villa win safety first approach that works after late second half pen.

I think we'll win. I hope the players have had a bollocking this week and will show some sort of response.

I have no idea who is fit/unfit for this one

They rarely do though, The inconsistency drives me mad, it's always:

Played well - "if we play like that all season, we'll be ok." Next game, absolute dog muck.
Played badly - "we had a great response in training this week, we'll try to put it right on the pitch." Next game, absolute dog muck

Too many sub-standard players. They did for Smith, they did for Gerrard, and if we don't replace them, they'll do for Emery.

That looks to be fairly consistent to me , unfortunately.

I think we have sub-standard players too, not necessarily in technique but mentality.

I think it's both mate. They're all capable of doing playing well, or even being excellent, but they're all also prone to not being able to complete a simple 6 yard pass to a team mate or getting a shot within 15 feet of the goal. Often it's in the same game.

I really hope Unai has a second look at the passing out from the back policy. It was so predictable watching Mings and Konsa both pull wide every time the keeper had the ball against Wolves and we got ourselves into so much unnecessary trouble. Leeds are a high pressing high octane team who could easily embarrass us. It's fine to do it but not every time. Variation is key. When we played Liverpool almost every time we gave them problems it came from a more direct approach involving Ollie Watkins.

It's another thing that drives me mad. We don't look any good at it, at all, as we clearly don't have the players for it. What happens nine times out of 10 is that we roll it out to a defender, they mess around looking for an unmarked team mate, fail to do so, pass it back to the keeper who then punts it up field anyway, usually losing possession.

It's hardwired into lots of the top teams though now. And it's what Emery does so we need to get used to it as fans and more importantly the players needs to adapt, quickly.

When done well the ball moves quickly and players use the space. When done badly like Sunday, it's ponderous, clueless and dangerous (which also make great names for some of Snow White's little chums)

Sounds obvious, but we could really do with a convincing win and performance on Friday night.  We need it just to shake off Sunday more than anything.

Agree with a lot of this Risso, though i think Gerrard had a good go and doing for himself to be fair
