I think she’s pretty good as a commentator.

She started the game talking about a giant killing and has stuck with that all through.

Bailey. Banjo. Cows arse.

To be fair, it seemed to take a deflection

Please tell me that’s a corner. Or else Bailey is having beyond a mare.

Yeah and as Villa fans we might not like it, but the general audience probably do and to be honest before we scored they looked marginally more incisive. It’s hardly surprising to lead with it.

Kaden Young on the bench is a mistake. No matter how good he is, we should not be giving first team games & media praise to kids until they have reached the age of 18 & signed a long term pro contract. Have we learned nothing from the Chukwuemeka situation?

Not this shit again
In what specific area do you disagree? Maybe you should create a Kaden Young thread, so not to upset some of the more sensitive posters on this board...

He's on the bench for a 3rd round fa Cup match, along with about 20 other Premier league youngsters this weekend.

Hardly blowing smoke up his arse are we. Such a bizarre narrative you've created

I don't care about other clubs youngsters & how they are dealt with, unless it involves Villa. The manager has been praising Young in the media this week. Im not saying that we should call him shit & pay him in coal, I am just wary of building up the ego of youngsters with praise & first team opportunities before they have signed a proper long term pro contract on their 18th birthday. Chuckweumeka & his people told us all the right things about that contract, but we fed his ego with comments from the likes of Purslow & gave him more first team opportunities than his play deserved & he left thinking he was the big "I am". I do not want to repeat the same mistakes with any of our other prospects.

Probably time to think about something else I reckon
You disagree. Thats fine. I respect that.

Most comms are on "magic of the cup" bingo in this round.

Dion is desperate for us to win about 4-0. Barely cares about what any of the Stevenage lads are up to.

Are we working on the basis that if Bailey gets the ball enough times, he'll eventually do something right with the ball?

Yes, they are putting 8 or 9 behind the ball, but Christ, when they do attack and have on occasions we have to move the ball quicker when we win it back.

They’re a very organised back 8
We just have to be patient

Much better tempo to this second half anyway.

Another goal and this cup tie is done.
