what has happened to the attacking left back formerly known as Digne? He rarely crosses the half way line and his main contribution is to pass the ball back to Mings.

Noticed that too on several occasions, he wouldn't dribble into the large space in front of him, preferring to lump it forward aimlessly or give it to Mings so he could lump it just the same.

He does get forward, players don't pass to him quickly enough when he's in space so then he gets crowded out as we saw when he went down cheaply in the box.

Decent start to second half from us.

Feels though when quick combination of passing and Liverpool will just carve us open but us scoring would make things in the balance again.

It's a good game for neutrals, but not if you're a Villa fan, just glad we're only 2 down.

You can see why Liverpool have coughed up so many chances this season and generally underperformed.

But doesn't really matter with our cutting edge.
