Given that Paella is from Valencia, and Estrella from Barcelona, it's a no from me.

Imagine if Dean Smith went to manage Sporting Gijon and they sang

"Smithy eats Jellied Eels
He drinks Newkie Broon..."

Excellent :-)

I was toying around with Daydream Believer:

F*** off Steeeeevie G, We’ve got Emery!

But I'm full of cold and my brain's not working, plus I'm no good at making up lyrics that aren't dirty as hell, so that's all I have. I don't even like that bit as Gerrard is best forgotten. I also toyed with starting off with Unai:

Unai Emmmmmmmery! Bossed it tactically...
He knows to change formations and to unleash Emi...

Who knows?  :-\

By the way, i just prefer, to the tune of 'your shit, and you know you are'

Unai
Unai Emery
Unai
Unai Emery
etc

Boring i know but keeping it simple is often the best way.

We are AVFC
Managed by Emery
He knows what he wants
And he knows how to get it
He wants to destroy Man City

And we, want to be, Emery

I look forward to my Ivor Novello award arriving in the post

For me it has to be the Dexy's one because -

Lyrics lean towards rhyming with his name with ease

Midlands based band

Song known by anyone over 30 i would imagine

Easy enough for us old farts to remember

While over hearing one of this 80's pop songs programmes t'other day I heard the well known DISCO from 1980 by Ottawan (Look it up kids if you don't know it)I got thinking that Unai Emery works perfectly well if you break it down into syllables
U nai Em er y

So with that in mind it goes like this....

U nai Em er y, Unai Emery,
Unai Emery, Unai Emery,

Singin'
U Undefeated..Singin'
N No good at English..Singin'
A Arsenal Reject...Singin
I I I (extended) I
and then back into U nai Em er y

It also works for E M E R Y

Singin'..
E Ebening Jug Ears
Singin'
M Move up the table
Singin'
E Ebening Jug Ears
Singin'
R Rise up the table
Singin
Y Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
U nai Em er y repeat x 4

Apologies in advance for any earworms created.

The lyrics are fine, there's no problem there.

If shit tunes were banned then I don't think there would be much singing at football matches.

Personally, I've always been a fan of 'Nel blu dipinto di blu'.

Someone was trying singing his name to "Brown Girl in the Ring" at Old Trafford, which worked until the end bit
