That's very kind - and no, I steal for too many of my opinions from cleverer people than me to be sniffy about others taking mine.

I think that's one of my few originals though.

Ah that’s good, I’ve already inserted it into a debate elsewhere.

50k a year and a Curly Wurly every game.
Curly Wurlys are too flamboyant for my liking.  They talk a good game, with their chocolate and toffee combo, but ultimately they flatter to deceive.  You're better off selling them and replacing them with 3 confectionaries that fill each of the things they provide ... Lindt for chocolate, Highland Toffee for the toffee, and Danny Ings.

See also everything. Bought a back fo Jaffa Cakes last week, Jaffa Bites would be more appropriate.

If ManU offered him 20m a year there wouldn't be anything other than an Unai shaped dust cloud at Bodymoor. Money isn't his driving factor but it's a factor for everyone.

They won't offer that but it's naive to think Unai only has eyes for us and that will always be the case regardless. Same for every employee of the club.

You’ve contradicted yourself in your first paragraph.

You now state that money isn’t his driving factor, what now is?

I have a theory that he was deeply affected by the Arsenal sacking and above anything he’s on a mission to prove them wrong not to allow him more time. He does that by winning the league and CL by his methods. Can he do that elsewhere? say, ManU for instance? Of course he could but at the same time he might not have the complete control at such a club to allow him to do so. He’s at a club where he has the ideal conditions to improve year on year. We’re in for a special period in the club’s history while UE fulfils his ambitions.

No contradiction, he's on 8m a year here, I don't think he'd move to ManU if they offered 9m a year. So money isn't his driving factor as he'd prefer to earn 1m a year less at a club he's happy at.

If they offered 20m a year he'd go as no one is turning down that much money.

So money isn't a driving factor but if enough is offered it becomes a factor.
