Alex Ferguson took three years to win his first trophy at Man Utd, and have his 'process' fully in place.

No pressure, Unai...

Seriously though, it's been an incredible turn-around in three and a half years.  If we can continue to grow off the pitch, at a level that gives us the resources to seriously back Unai ON the pitch, then I think we're on the verge of a very special period in our history. UTV!!

He can keep the deeds to my house as far as I'm concerned.

He needs to pull his finger out next season and win the CL.

We're winning the league next year. That's why Guardiola is jacking it in, he can see the writing is on the wall.

Yorke just always comes across as out of touch, and also - how do I say this politely - a bit dim.

Now official.

Unai Emery announced our new manager. Worth having a more specific conversation about him here. To be honest surprised and happy. Well established manager with a load of experience and success. Good luck to him

Starting to think this might have been a decent appointment.

There were a few who wanted Gerrard to stay.

There were many who thought it was a good appointment to start off with.

Going toool at that thread now.

Another photo opportunity manager for our CEO.

As ever, the forum's great thinker had him sussed from the beginning.

Ha ha did Fred eventually get banned? I seem to recall his peculiar brand of nihilistic doom-mongering was extreme even for some of the forums more glass half empty posters.
