The media rightly proclaim Unai as a four times winner of the Europa League, but his underlying stats in this competition include only 15 defeats in over 100 games. Incredible consistency.

His home European Record while he’s been here is

15 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat.

Away it’s

8 wins, 2 draws, 7 defeats.

We need a fourth European competition to get to the quarters of, it will be boring doing one of these again.

We should try and win the FIFA Peace Award next year.

I believe StE was referring to UEFA competitions rather than FIFA.

His best day on the line for some time. Forest away ideal next game for us to keep focused. From memory we tend to struggle there. They will be flying after the result at Spurs too.

We should have won last time there but for some horrific late defending. That’s the game Emi made the save of the season that few talk because we lost the game.

We broke possession stats in the home game didn't we? I'd fancy it to be similar in the away game too.

That was Dyche ball. They didn't even try to have a go until the game was nearly gone from them. Keeper going on walkabout finished it. Anderson, Hudson Odoi, Williams, Jesus - they have players that can cause us problems. That pitch always seems to play tight too.

Nice. Though this line made me lol

Of course he is. He's also probably admired by Barrow, but that doesn't mean it is worth including.

That alone invalidates an article I won't bother reading.  I mean, the fucking ridiculousness of that is staggering.

Being the most fouled team in the league (by quite a margin), and yet not having a single penalty is quite an achievement.

I would bet (based on nothing but watching us play), that a large number of those fouls come in the defensive third when we're trying to beat the press and a defender puts himself between man and ball.  We do seem to get a lot of free kicks that way, and I think refs are more inclined to give them in that position, than for similar contact further up the pitch.

I was kind of taking it out of context for jokes - the article is worth reading.

It pretty much outlines all the things working against Villa this season, and how impressive it is to be were we are.
