Ornstein is reporting that he’s increasingly likely to leave in the summer.

Where's this been mentioned sorry?

Edit: Just spotted it on his Facebook page.

Ornstein does not have an official Facebook page. And there is nothing similar on his X/Twitter or Instagram/Threads pages.

I did have a trawl through his X and couldn't see anything. This could all just be some epic level trolling.

You'd imagine Jacob Tanswell would be all over it as he works with Ornstein. Nothing on his social media.

If he does leave that’s an utter disaster.

We have to plan for the time when him leaving won't be a disaster.

One day but not right now. Our best chance is to  go all in on Emery. I don’t think he’d take kindly to, I dunno, a director of football being appointed alongside him.

Any responsible owner will be doing this as a part of regular contingency-planning.
My guess is that Nas n' Wes will have a priority-list of replacements (Iraola and Glasner would be near the top of that list, I'm guessing); not that they'd have approached anyone, of course.
The bigger challenge might be replacing all those whom Emery has brought in specifically to work with him; not in terms of finding people but getting them in in a timely fashion. And, what Damian decides to do might well be significant, too.

No, see Harvey Elliot! He gets more control with us than he would at nearly at every other CL club. Remember him whinging loudly that Arsenal (Edu?) pushed for Pepe over Zaha who he wanted at the time.

Can't believe people are so excercised about rather vague rumours over Emery's future on this Islamic political history site.

If anyone is still a bit worried, I can offer reassurance: this isn't even being discussed on SHA.

I don't think Jacob Tanswell  would want to burn his contacts with the club over a rumour right now, better let somebody else front it like erm..Ornstein.
I have no idea where Unai would go if he were to leave, certainly not Real Madrid. How they operate is the complete opposite to Unai's strengths, apart from the transfer policy, obviously. Man U (are you reading this, Demitri? Not ever again 'Utd', ffs, hang your head in shame) is a madhouse with evil owners; Newcastle? Nah. Everton? If he's looking for a very long term project, basically into his 80s then maybe. Spursy? Can't see him wanting to manage in the Championship.

Back to Spain? Dream job would be back to his roots with Athletic Bilbao but right now Ernie Valverde is doing a great job. Forget Barca and Madrid though Atletico could be a project for him, replacing Diego Simone who looks like he will leave in the summer despite the club saying he will stay for an additional year. Maybe Unai thinks he can do something with them. Anything smaller I can't see it.

On reflection, it looks like we're stuck with him which is no bad thing.
