I think he’d take it. I think his reasoning would partly be they’re the biggest club in the world, and partly frustration here due to our financial shackles. Plus he’s been here a while now.
I wondered whether being Basque would mean he’d be less likely to manage a team that was associated with the Franco regime, but Lopetegui managed them so maybe it’s not a thing?
He may well take it, but I honestly can't think of a worse fit than the brattiest, whiniest Real Madrid squad in ages (think of the ground that covers).
