I suppose if they said we’ll double your wages and you can have exactly the same control you have at Villa he might be tempted. The chances of such a thing happening are less than remote. Besides, I don’t think UE is driven by keeping a top club top. It’s far better to take a midling club with potential that he can mould into his image of what males for a successful club.
