On the Manager Of The Month talk and Emery's three wins with us, any guesses on the last Villa winner of Premier League Player Of The Month?

I immediately thought of Guessand and wondered what weakness it was that Emery sought to improve.

As life long fans of the club we have earned the right to be passionate and emotional about the club we love. But when you listen to Unai talking about transfers you realize it's a business. He talks aso pragmatically and rationally about that you are left with a sense of calm through the chaos. I love how focused he always is. No excuses, just get on with the job.

Delph or Benteke would be my guesses. Assuming someone has won it since Young in his first spell.

Benteke over 10 years ago. We have won it 9 times out of a possible 250+.

I reckon he’ll be off elsewhere in 18 months or so. Some of my doom brain for yers.

We'll get Ollie G in and go again. Never losing to Palace forever more, thank fuck.

Stephen Ireland?

What month would he have ever won it? June or July?

The greatest favour he’s done us - even if he does go sooner than we’d all like - is elevating the club so we’re a big job for serious managers when we’re looking for a replacement. We will not be Harry Kane’s first PL job after he’s won the league cup with St Mirren.

His explanation on Malen was very good and his passion and focus continues to be infectious.

I’m also slightly less concerned on Kamara having seen his actual delivery over the written quotes. Feel few to grab one of these straws I’m clutching.
