Beeb. Won't include gate money etc.

Quote
Manchester United earned £21.6m for reaching the final of Europe's second-tier competition this season, while Tottenham's total prize money was about £26.5m.

You'd imagine there'd be some hefty sponsor bonuses if we were to win it.

So that’s prize + TV money.

And the £70m last year, that was just prize money + TV money too?

That’s a massive hit - not sure why I had it in my head, but I’d thought a Europa win was worth something less than but comparable with a CL quarter final.

That BBC figure above of £25m is only the entry and prize money element there is Value Pillar Money on top as well which will probably be £5-£10m for us. So Paul’s original thought of £30m+ isn’t far off the money though it is a fair drop from the CL £80m last season.

The cash boost on winning it is really the entry into the CL league stage.

They've already appointed Arbeloa.

Alvaro Arbeloa is all lined up for Madrid with Klopp and Zidane there should he turn it down. Unai is going nowhere.

If Hansi Flick leaves Barcelona, I'll start getting a bit twitchy, mind.

I'd be more twitchy if I was a Man City fan.
