He has been thoroughly consistent in talking up the support and how important it is to us since he walked through the door.

It might be bollocks but poorer managers (ie everybody else on earth) can fuck this up, remember who pays and takes time to come a watch the work you get paid handsomely to carry out, and maybe, just maybe, they'll back you up when the going gets a bit tough.

Absolutely. I guess it’s a lesson learnt from his time at Arsenal. But that he’s taken it onboard and does something about it is typical of his approach. Absolutely fantastic manager who, if he isn’t already the best in the world, will be soon.

We’re lucky to have him, and I think he’s probably lucky to have us too (big club where he still gets a level of influence you’d expect from a smaller one)

Beating them must still be especially sweet for him.  You still get the feeling that his experience at Arsenal really hurt him.
