Yeah with half the ****** being fucked off. I'd rather have a shit season and see the players fired into the channel in a giant trebuchet and keep Emery. Utterly useless cowardly ******. Grow some fucking testicular fortitude and put a bastard cross in or be brave enough to take a man on.

This is extraordinary.

He has just thrown the players under the bus, I agree with him but when the manager calls out the players it usually ends one way.

I'd say it's a sign that Unai's as exasperated as the rest of us with the performances so far.

Nice to agree with you. Agree 100%

These players have scaled heights they never would have but for this brilliant manager.

That’s fair enough - he needs to play his part though and start picking a better balanced side.

It's his job to get them fired up, or stop picking them every week.

Adding my agreement with this. Keep the manager. With the exception of Martinez and Tielemans, he’s the only proven winner here.

I take it from those comments he was looking at what Rogers and Watkins did or didn't contribute today.

I expect that to be reflected in the team selection for not just Bologna but Fulham at home.

I feel strangely optimistic after this performance. Emery is a very intelligent man, multi lingual, but even he must be able to see now that Rogers needs dropping. Cash, despite the goal is shit defensively, and Ollie Watkins just can't cut it anymore. I thought Sancho looked good when he came on and Harvey Elliott tries to make things happen. Surely Emery won't allow the same shit to keep on happening week after week. Like I say, he's an intelligent man. This can't keep on happening.

All reports suggest Emery has the final say to approve a transfer. 1 of his started today. In 3 years, that's a damningly poor stat, even counting injuries, and he needs to be rightfully held to account by his bosses on that. He's also presided over us entering a premier league season with 1 bang average right back and 1 centre forward in the entire squad. That's fucking neglegent to the scale of Bruce and his centre half debacles pre Smith. Questions should, rightfully be asked about recruitment over that period. It doesn't mean I want him changed though before I'm chucked on a fire.

Secondly, he's got more negative, more defensive, slower in our play over the last 12 months to the point we have the worst attacking numbers in the league by a distance, and have yet to play anyone that good.

For that reason, the next 3-4 games in all competitions are massive. He's taken the road of squad criticism today, which is usually a throw of the dice. He's been here about his average length of time for a job and been brilliant. That voice clearly isn't being heard in that dressing room. I'd say he's got 4 games. We haven't got a league win after Fulham and Burnley at home, NSWE are not stupid. They'll protect their investment.

If they’re thinking about 4 games to save his job I think they’ve got to be pretty stupid. I’m very frustrated with the collective balls up that has been made since the end of last season - but if sacking Emery has even entered their minds at this point it’s nuts. I say that as someone who thinks he needs to sort out what he’s doing. But he is still absolutely the right manager.
