If he was sacked, can we pay him the best part of £30m plus.

Something isn't right. If we're feeling sorry for ourselves over OT and FFP then we need to grow the fuck up. We play scared.

Thanks for the memories Emery but you have lost the plot this season and I think its best for all that we part ways now.

The way we went about this start to the season is atrocious from start to finish! We are finished!

Madness.

Short memories here. 1996 is our last trophy and 4th finish with a lot of absolute garbage since.

Careful what you wish for.

It's the players i blame, going nowhere until this brilliant man turned up and now not playing for the shirt.

Keep Emery and get rid of the players in January.

That sub-Mourinho shake the hand of the opponent's manager before the game is finished is so lame.

The players have obviously downed tools but its easier to say bye to the manager than try and rebuild a 25 man squad of cry babies

I can't believe some of these comments. Maybe O'Leary was right...

I'm happy to give Unai the rest of the season even if we don't finish top half or look like it. Provided we stay up (we will) then he deserves the time. Simple as that.

He's worked miracles with this club and a bad start to the season isn't enough for me to even question him let alone want him out.

No way does he go anywhere. No way.

He does appear to be quite clueless right now. I’m prepared to let him have a relegation battle (and stay up), as long as we win a cup.

I agree. They are a bunch of chancers not fit for the shirt this season

I think he's lost the players.

I am not saying that is his fault, not at all, but you can tell there is something not quite right.

We absolutely must be careful what we wish for, and we won't get better than Unai. But Unai must be careful what he wishes for, because he won't get any better than this.

Out of interest, which comments are you referring to?

His average tenure as manager is 2.2 years, he's coming up to 3 years. Maybe there is a reason he only lasts that long whatever it is we are so far off where we were last season.
