After watching the European football this week, we seem to have fallen off a cliff!

We need to get back to that 2nd half of the PSG game and have some CIMP!
Commitment
Intensity
Movement
Pace

I'd add Heroism. Somewhere near the beginning.

we certainly do - but that's not the style Emery generally uses these days to win games - the pressing, high line and pace has long gone - the sideways negative talking football is his approach now, and even surely he can see it's not working.

We were never sponsored by Henson.

They made the kit (we got relegated in back in '87).

With an injury time penalty, which caused Genoa manager Patrick Vieira to talk himself into a red card. I had no previous idea that he was there.

What’s this winning games you talk of?

That credit in the bank is fast running out. This is dire, the financial constraints are no excuse for this garbage.

Bad runs happen, bad runs where you create virtually no clear chances every game are another matter.

I think we are starting to see the end of the Emery era. We have been so poor defensively for a while. Because of that we sit deep and try to protect the back 4 all the time which has entirely stifled our attack. We also have so little genuine creativity going forward. Slow, predictable, easy to defend against. Rarely get quality shots away let alone goals as we have seen. The players don’t seem as energetic as in the past. Like they have lost belief in the words of the manager, training, tactics which end up in similar line ups or approaches to games. In game tactical changes aren’t effective or too late when they arrive. There is so much frustration right now across the club. Does something significant need to change?

Thanks for the memories Emery but you have lost the plot this season and I think its best for all that we part ways now.

The way we went about this start to the season is atrocious from start to finish! We are finished!
