My guess is that the management team expected Martinez to go, and as such were planning for that. Then ManU went the opposite direction (against the wishes of their manager it has to be said) and that left us having no choice but to sell someone. And Ramsey was always the one that would be sacrificed. Emery would have known that, if we're honest we knew that, however unpalatable it was.
Lost twice to Keith Andrews - Keith Fucking Andrews - in a few weeks.Really, that's not acceptable.

I feel like we started at the bottom of a well. We are slowly crawling up, inch by inch. It's cold wet and horrible, more rain and filth pour down on us but we cling on manfully knowing one slip could see us at the bottom again where things may have to change before we start the ascent again. We really can't afford to lose on Sunday.
Fail to beat Sunderland and the pressure really is on. 7 without a win and struggling to score asks questions of any manager at this level, even Unai.
For the first time his job has to be in question, I think the players are showing a huge lack of interest, he doesn't seem to be able to motivate them, weekend is a must win for Uni.
At what point is his job in doubt?Who would we look to as a replacement, mid-season… Nuno?

Christ are we seriously debating Emery leaving?I'll list our last 12 managers and tell me who you'd swap him for:GerrardSmithBruceDi MatteoBlackGardeSherwoodLambertMcLeishHoullierO'NeillO'Learythem blokes worker wonders hear and we are happy to throw 3 seasons of goodwill and European qualification in the bin because of a poor start?let's break the poor start down - 3 draws (one with 10 men), a coin toss defeat at Brentford. So the only really poor performance was Palace who scored their final 2 goals when we were going for it.Get a grip people.
