From relegation fodder to 7th, 4th and 6th.
I have complete confidence this man will keep improving us and will land us a cup of some sorts next season.

Unai has been utterly incredible for us and raised the watermark of the club to such higher levels.

But there’s something in these crunch “all on the line games/ties” that he needs to sort. We win big games, so it’s not that, but when it’s a huge game at the end of a competition we are reasonably regularly just not turning up. I don’t know if it’s psychological or set up or what, but something does need to change.

I don’t know if it’s the players not enacting his tactics. Or if he’s compensating or compensating because the players can’t implement some of his tactics. One thing that is very fair to say is that in a number of games where he’s greatly concerned about our opponents, he keeps trying to get us to play a low block and our current squad is simply not capable of it and it doesn’t work. But he keeps trying it.

Is it when we're not the underdogs so the pressure is on us that we're a bit shit? That PSG 2nd game, no-one expected anything from us. Same with Bayern. The pressure is on us for today and Palace. My memory is very shit though.

Perhaps he should get one of those sports psychologists on his back room staff.

I still hope we'll win things with him. I like the guy. I'd hate him to become Yet Another Failed Villa Manager in the trophy department. I've seen far too many of those!

He needs a bit more physicality and speed. Rashford ultimately has fucked with Watkins head and Asensio has pushed Rogers in to a less optimal position.

Olympiakos.

We were gone by then so that's excusable.

I know he got to a final with arsenal and lost but I didn't watch it so I don't know how they were.

I think it’s specifically us - he’s very clearly able to win finals. But whatever it is isn’t working in these moments currently.

I remember just a couple of years ago, Pep was labeled as overthinking the big games. I do think Emery has a tendency to do that. Also, in the last few weeks there has been an element of square peg in a round hole, namely Rogers out on the right and forcing a position for Asensio.

The favouritism shown to Asensio the last 6 weeks has been a big error. Almost as if, I’ve signed him on loan for big £, so I have to play him. Poor judgement

Still brilliant, but has dropped too many clangers this season and when we've needed to deliver we have come up short

He's raised our expectations so much that we now criticise him for failing to give us what he's given us to dream of.

I keep saying Mings should be the cornerstone of the backline. We look weaker with Torres in there. Also, stop playing this tedious low block formation resulting in almost walk football. Play a high tempo attacking game like against Newcastle at home when we smashed them 4-1 recently.

It is his Cash at RB every game.
His absolute faith in Torres to the exclusion of Mings.
His pushing Rogers to the Right Wing to accommodate Assensio and leave us with no pace with neither providing any defensive support.
Yes what he has done is miraculous, but when he gets it wrong he gets it badly wrong and more concerning is his apparent inability or unwillingness to correct it.
