I like the way after the game he said he wants to win with Aston Villa.

I don’t think he says things for the sake of it.

This club is insane, isn't it?

This is the club that went from the Third Division to champions of england, champions of Europe, and back into the second division in 15 years.

What a ride this is. What a job he's doing.

You should watch AVFC The Movie on YouTube, it is really rather good and sobering!

We’ve arrived at a point where the manager can make 4 or 5 changes, even almost a whole team as a we saw at Southampton, and there isn’t a drop off in quality. Irrespective of the competition. A testament to the recruitment but also the standard of coaching that the players are ready whoever is picked to play.

It’s absolutely remarkable what he’s done for our club.

Is that the content we were trying to sell to Netflix?

The day he leaves is going to be like Yorke, Grealish and Gerrard leaving in one multiplied by about 50.

Its going to be dreadful.

How the fuck can we ever replace Unai?

That’s a weird mix you’ve picked out there.

Gerrard. That ****** leaving was one of the greatest moments in our history. Finally no more settling for mediocrity and that will do.

If Grealish hadn't gone then Smith likely lasts longer. Smith lasting longer means no Gerrard. No Gerrard means no Unai. Funny how things can work out in the end,

At the moment I want Unai to become our Fergie. Someone who continues here for the next 20 years and retires here. I don't think he can be followed as his commitment to the minutae if preparation for games is unique. Hopefully I also won't need to be around by the time he retires as well as not sure how anyone can follow and we might go the same way as following Fergie, although winning a trophy every few years still won't be bad.

Should he ever leave we'll be able to pick from just about every manager in Europe.

Yes. Needs to win a couple of trophies before surpassing Sir Ron though
