Fuck you Unai Emery, you have destroyed my April/May serenity that was provided by mid table mediocrity season after season. Now for the third season running  my nerves are tingling when I should be planning summer on the beach.

How do you think I feel. I am supposed to be retiring with no debt in June. It's not going well!

Tell you what, I really miss this time of season looking out for Wigan's results and doing mathematical projections involving numbers around 35 or 36.

These made me smile. Thanks both :)

Glad I’m watching it on telly, my nerves are shot already. Come on me Villa babbies!

Thank you Unai for another incredible night.

We'll get there eventually.

If he stays  around for a few years we’ll be trophy laden.

Thank you Unai.

This club is insane, isn't it?

This is the club that went from the Third Division to champions of england, champions of Europe, and back into the second division in 15 years.

What a ride this is. What a job he's doing.

At the very start of this journey he said that this is the stage he wants the club to be at because it is what he wants. And in a couple of years he has taken us from being a joke, heading back down under that lego headed twat to being in CL and going for it again. It's a fucking miracle.

I wish we'd done another big flag (or whatever the thing that hangs from the Holte is called) of him tonight.

Unai, looking glorious, farting on the Arc de Triomphe.

If we can hold on to him for several years, he’ll establish us us at top of European football.

Another trophy we didn't win, thin ice Mr Emery, thin ice indeed.

Baring in mind that this was our first Champions League campaign and Emery's not even been here 3 years yet, we're not a million miles away from being capable of winning the Champions League.
