Unai Emery: "I never use injured players as an excuse because other teams have that as well. We try to use the players we have available. For example, it was fantastic how Calum Chambers helped us recover the ball for the second goal."

Brilliant management., although you come to expect nothing else.

We've now matched the 76/77 goals for total with 76. And done it in 5 fewer games.

When was the last time we had a positive double figure goal difference in the prem?

I reckon 2010.

Yeah, with +13.

Quick google check and any sort of win at CP will give us our best GD in the prem, and also since we won the league. A draw will tie with Pubeheads first season and losing by no more then 2 goals would give us our second best. (We hit 17 previously).

Yeah but players can't defend for shit anymore so I'm not sure it's a fair comparison. Newcastle will hit the 80 goal mark by Sunday, maybe Chelsea too.

Still good, like.

For how shit our defending has looked for a while, it's still only 4 teams who have conceded fewer goals than us.

I genuinely wouldn't swap him for Guardiola, but is that just because I think he's a ******?

Amazing results, improved nearly every player, passionate on the touchline, and calm, composed, respectful and ambitious in interviews. Hard to think of a single negative

Fantastic Manager, and comes across as a really good person - hopefully he will be here for many seasons to come.

At his peak last night, like a box of frogs on the touch line. He’s so passionate and I could tell he wanted to get on the pitch and get stuck in.

He must be amazing to play for..

What a man. Can't wait to get my picture taken in front of the Unai Emery statue (located behind the Unai Emery Stand) in a few years.
