Emery is very emotionally stable. He never seems to criticise the players. It would be easy to do after today. If we lose to ajax this week i think the fans are slowly going to start grumbling.

Bubble has burst.

I accidently pressed the starting thread button and found your first post on his appointment Fred.

Another photo opportunity manager for our CEO.

…and we didn't control the game. The match was controlled more or less in the plan we prepared.”

Eh? What on earth is that supposed to mean?

Bubble has burst.

Yeah agree

Actually as I was saying about some people's desire to criticise the manager:

Without naming names, some do seem to have rather itchy fingers

FFS Monty, his English is fine but he’s literally contradicted himself in consecutive sentences. That’s nothing to do with his English or his accent.

I fear he's planning the same tactics for the Arsenal and Man City games. I mean if you do it for spurs...

I think he's clearly made a little error, if you've read everything he's said he obviously means that we were containing them and breaking first half more or less like we wanted. He's fronting up in a fifth language in front of the press after a horrible professional day, and I'm surprised you didn't get what he meant.

I hope he tries the same tactics he used when he beat them both in a week.

Yes well we certainly took the game to City.
