He pretty much said the FA Cup was low priority yesterday until it's a semi or final

That was our strongest available team tonight though

Love Unai, but the last two performances at home have looked worryingly aimless. Perhaps most worrying if we go behind we completely fold.

Ignore the pub team in Sheffield but the last three first half performances have been appalling.

Some of the comments about Emery on the match thread were ridiculous. It wont surprise me if there are comments wanting him replaced next.

I can’t blame Emery for this. When you’ve got McGinn and Kamara playing so poorly, giving the ball away, which then that makes Tielemans a waste of space without a functioning midfield, also putting pressure on a depleted defence? Which let’s face it without Torres, Digne and Konsa is not that good.

Too many off par and like I say those two were shocking.

That was bad. Unai has to take his share of the blame, but I don't know how we've gone from playing around the press to making SO many mistakes when teams press us.  I don't think I've seen us misplace this many passes since he took over.  Are Chelsea just much better at pressing than everyone else?

Either way, it needs fixing for the weekend. We can't afford a performance like that against Man Utd.

So he picked our strongest team and told them not to bother?

They were shit, I don’t think it was a lack of effort but a lack of quality. It was shocking, looked like some kind of hangover.

Ten Hag will have been licking his lips watching us tonight. And our lot will be leggy again. I don't think it matters whether we have 4 days or 10 days between games, we look off it regardless.

His done world class with our squad no doubt about that - drop of form since early December dosent change that and also
what he does look good for the future IMO. After all our squad dosent allow injuries to many of the first team players before we are drastically less able. Our squad is in this regard thin compared to the likes of Chelsea and Spurs fexmpl.

You're right, suddenly, for some reason, they don't care. That must be it.

I doubt anyone wants him sacked.  However, just because he's been brilliant since he arrived,  he shouldn't be above criticism when he gets things wrong
