Some fans seem to be much more critical of an Emery defeat than they ever were after a Sir Stevie G one.
I know we tend to go off on a tangent - but please can we not sully this thread with past incompetents.
He could have shut the game down at 2-0 and asked them to break us down second half, but decided not to. That’s on him.

United’s only tactic was to try to get in behind, and we never stopped encouraging them. Why we didn’t drop off and make them try to play through us, I’ll never know. We had a lot of success last season getting ahead away from home and then being very difficult to break down.

And it wasn't the only away game where we did that. The change and the lack of pragmatism is perplexing. If we were controlling away games like we do at home, it would be fine and dandy, but we just never look dominant on our travels.
