Winning at home is a great habit. We lost some control 2nd half but maybe tiredness after Thursday was a factor. Was a little surprised that Moreno didn't get a run out at 3-0 but maybe still not quite ready. We are in a great position and can enjoy the international break. We have so far done really well to tackle the Thursday / Sunday games. Hopefully this can continue. In Uni we trust..

Yes, I actually did think about that on the walk back to the car park. The other thing we are good at is recovery after conceding. Against Brighton and West ham etc when they got one back we snuffed them by scoring again almost staraght away.

Palace at home also showed a lot of resilience. They are a tough team to come back against. Duran's wonder-goal couldn't have been more welcome.

Conceding away first is more of a mixed-bag. We actually did well to equalise immediately at Newcastle, after that all bets were off as the Tyrone injury buggered us badly. And we actually still fashioned some chances.

Liverpool away was disappointing, again we lost a centre-half early on but we showed very little intent afterwards. Liverpool at home are pretty relentless but we did nearly do them there in May. We badly missed Ramsey in the September game there.


Going behind at Wolves is also tough to come back from, especially when the local rivalry is added to the mix. Had we not equalised pretty much straight away, we may have toiled to another shitty 1-0 defeat there but we deserve credit for the quick response and afterwards we had the best chances to win the game (and arguably should have got a penalty. Conveniently forgotten amongs all the "Wolves have been sinned against the most, this season" narrative at the moment.)

Forest scored both their goals at the most wounding (yes, wounding) times. Opening minutes of both halves. So your gameplan and your half-time team-talk go out the window immediately. No excuse for the lack of creativity though, even if we were playing against 10/11 men behind the ball.

Our ability to turn things round when we concede first is dismal. One win this season, one win last, one the season before. Rubbish.

We lack urgency when we are behind.  When we win possession in midfield our players seem to look for a backwards pass instead of a forward one.
