absolutely. Emery has been given almost total control of the club in how we are run. Brought in a preferred President of Ops in Monchi. Convinced any number of staff to join him. Has the total love and support of the fans and players. But yeh, those shambolic pricks are going to a perfect fit for him to leave a club just outside the CL spots.

I would like to think that when Nas and Wes were selling Unai the project they would have asked for assurances that he wouldn't be off the minute someone like Manure winked at him.  I believe Unai Emery is an honest man.

And I'm sure my wife would happily trade me in for Jason Momoa, but we can't all get what we want in life.

Can’t see him swapping the best owners in the league for the worst

I don't think there's any real likelihood of him doing that.

Well he’s the perfect fit for most clubs, but doesn’t mean he’s going. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship here.

I think the reverse is true there too, as in Emery would have wanted reassurance from the owners that he'd be backed and basically be in complete control, as much as is appropriate for a manager. It's his project now, and I can't see him leaving of his own free will to go somewhere else, especially not to a club like Man U, where there seems to be issues at every single level.

They need to sort out their owners, boardroom, finances, and countless other things before you even look at the mess the dressing room is. No sane manager is going there any time soon.

I think down the line Barcelona and Real Madrid are the only realistic options that might pull him away
But right now he’s going nowhere

I think it depends on how things go with us. If things keep going as they are, moving in the right direction, I think he'll be here for a while.

Just been thinking how much I love him and I think he's going to bring us something very special.

Speaking words of wisdom, Emery  8)

Its just the endless cycle of content creation - talk about a team thats doing well, and there players.  Try to sell them then to the clubs that generate the most clicks.

At the end of the day, Im sure there will be offers that tempt him at some point in the future -all we can do is support him the best we can.  We're doing that and realistically we're probably the largest club in the world that can give him that level of control.

For me, whatever happens, the owners have learnt one important thing - get the best coach you possibly can.  So when Unai leaves (hopefully to retirement, with another 10 trophies in the cabinet) I think we'll do the same again.
