If anyone deserves a song it's Unai imo. And the ground should be full of Spanish flags. Or Basque flags if he's more into that.

The very least we can do is give him an original chant.

I agree with these sentiments, we could survive any of the players leaving but if Unai gets poached then we're backwards looking again.

He's bought into the project at Villa.  I doubt he'd get as much control at any other top club or freedom to run the show as he sees fit. Financial reward is a motivation naturally, I'm sure we can compete on that front. More importantly, he wants to prove he can do it in the Prem as the Arsenal job is a minor blot on his CV. Emery and Villa are a good fit to do that. If he manages CL this season he will be with us for sometime as I see the owners backing him to the hilt to do well in it.

Who realistically could he go to where he'd have the backing/control and freedom to do what he's doing here?

Yes and whilst I don’t agree with it there’s this perception he struggles with megastars. I think that’s people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 based on Arsenal and PSG. But either way that perception probably benefits us in terms of him getting approached by the “elite” clubs.

And that's a great picture from 'Photograph: James Gill/Danehouse/Getty Images' as well, fair play.

Good ebening people on twitter need shooting point blank range with a rocket launcher

Very bad taste comment at the current time.

You suggest we wait for a time when nobody in the world is dealing with the problem of being shot before making these jokes?

I don't think anyone could deal with being shot point blank with a rocket. That is too big a problem to deal with. If Axl Rose absolutely must shoot someone point blank then a water pistol would be better but only filled with water and not too hot.

This all sounds reasonable, it's just that my only problem is that it is, by now, extremely obvious that just because Axl says something it doesn't make it come true!

If it did, there'd be no fire extinguishers left in the Northern hemisphere.

Little Martin O'Neill-esque jump and double fist pump there for Ollie's goal.

For context he has the highest win percentage of any manager for PSG, it's fucking weird that he gets marked as a failure in his time there.

I'd love it if when we win the Champions League that in his post-match interview he relaxes enough to say, 'Well that was a bery good ebening wasn't it?'

I't's not him though is it?  We all know he'd be on his lap top studying our Super Cup opponents.

Nope, you're absolutely right. Though just that line and then clearing off to do what you say would be even better. I love the man, and actually, I'm pleased he wasn't given what he needed at Arsenal or PSG, because their arrogant attitude was their loss and our absolute gain.
