I am slightly disappointed that he sat down at 85th minute and did not move till the final whistle. Does that indicate a possible problem?

I was disappointed by his nonplussed reaction to the 6th too. Like me he was probably thinking Ollie should have buried it in the first place but instead he made a mental note “must work on Ollie’s finishing” at the expense of showing emotion for another goal.

As the saying goes, if I found him in bed with my missus, I'd bring him a cup of tea.
I would kick the missus out and get in the bed with him and have a decent intercourse.

When it comes to the bedroom, Unai does not do 'decent'. It's spectacular or nothing at all.

She’d be completely clear how and where her positioning needed to be. Would know when to move quickly and when to bring the rear into play.

She know's how to draw the opposition in, and push them into areas they don't want to go.

It certainly does,he was probably thinking "FFS they are doing everything I asked them to do I could be out of a job here"

It's not just pressure, but pressure at the right times in the right places, knowing when to hurt you.

This is a really good analysis of how we took Brighton apart.  Not seen this guys videos before, but thought it was very insightful.

That was quite good, well presented. I'm glad he's an admirer of the high line. It will get beat, but if we set up so that to do so means there needs to be the perfect pass and simultaneously the perfect run, both executed under pressure, so be it. And then there's still Martinez.

I like him, despite being called 'statman' he doesn't dwell on stats or use them to justify an opinion he had anyway like most do on there. I know for some that  probably talk stats too often but I think it's important to understand that the right way to analyse sport is to start with an 'eyeball' test and then see if the stats support that or disprove it and why they do.

"That Peter Crouch Thing" - the bloke gets everywhere now, like the footballing equivalent of James Acaster.

Awkward yet loveable, talented yet humble. Now just over-exposed like a Kerry Katona-Jade Goodie 2000's celebrity-sandwich.

The most succinct summary I've heard was from The Villa Podcast last night where they said Emery "Took Brighton's system and fucked them with it"
