But seriously agree with you. Consistent better teams win stuff.
I've just had look at the draw for Round 4. The ties are being played week commencing 30th October. Had we gone through, that would have made it four games in the space of ten days .Alkamaar, Luton, Cup game and Forest, with another European game after Forest. I was willing us to get the equaliser and take it to penalties the other night as much as anybody but looking at that, not having that extra game will be a massive help.
"Unai Emery has earned 61 points from his first 31 Premier League games in charge of Aston Villa, the same number that Pep Guardiola managed in his first 31 Premier League games in charge of Manchester City." A pretty impressive stat copied from twitter.

Spurs are the exception to the rule, I bet if you look at the domestic trophy winners in the last twenty years there's less than a handful won by teams not playing in the Champions League at the time. It's shit but that's the way it is.
To be honest I don't give that much of a shit about going out tonight.Would be nice to have a decent run but we're in four competitions and the squad simply isn't big enough to go full pelt in all of them. I get the point that the manner of the defeat is really disappointing though. The team was good enough to win even though it was weakened so that's on the players, for me.We're about 10 metres into a marathon we are well placed in so I'm not going to overreact. We're going to have a great season. We'll win on Saturday as well BTW.
Everyone get in here and worship him.Bow down and worship our glorious manager.Criticised in the week and people saying we haven't had a good game all season and he gives us that.UNAI I LOVE YOU.
