Emi did for the black third shirt hoodoo.

Beat SCUM at home for the first time since 1995

Now he's pissed all over the Manager of the Month kiss of death.

What's next I wonder?
Funeral scousers at Anfield next week.

What a guy! Our Unai.

It's official - it wasn't a penalty.

The Sultan of Unai says so.

I love it. Whatever the question asked he just chatters on about whatever he wants.

I doubt he's fussy about his shampoo or hair gel. Man makes an effort with personal grooming but he's got bigger things on his mind.

Nah, he’s meticulous. As he is with everything else. Probably obsesses over the brand and ingredients on the packaging. All of his data collected in a spreadsheet providing him his options based on where he is in the world, calculating humidity and water hardness.
When he’s around, all water is hard.

I fall somewhere between. I do think he has standards of personal hygiene and grooming that would make any other man blush, but I think that, in his head, they are bare minimum and he doesn't reflect on them for a single second.

Suave at all times; sharply dressed but clearly a man who has found his style, is happy with it, and picks up any new clothes in mere seconds on his way to buying a coffee; smart but slightly battered shoes, because he knows what he likes, and would never discard a comfortable pair of shoes; never flustered, you could use his socks as a balaclava and have no idea they had been worn; breath like a summer breeze, but no OTT fake white teeth; a miraculous absence of ear and nose hair or stray eyebrow hairs; no jewellery apart from a watch that you hardly notice but which is unostentatiously expensive, probably a gift from someone close to him; a striking but not overpowering scent of evocative yet mysterious cologne, that lingers for 5-10 seconds after his departure as a reminder but never arrives before the moment he shakes your hand, with a dry palm and an effortlessly firm handshake, accompanied by reassuring but not excessive eye contact.

I love his sartorial elegance, but in fairness it was one thing his predecessor got right too. None of this tech-bro white trainers bullshit.

Rory, are you Maeve Binchy in disguise?  Beautifully written, poetic, and I could actually smell the cologne!  Makes me want to sniff him, if you know what I mean!
