He's assembled a 3 hour long video analysis of each of the Longstaff brothers.

He knew that one of them is injured and hasn't turned out for them for two years but he did him too because THAT is how detailed he is.

Apparently Pako had to stop him checking birth records to see if there were any more of them.

They could see the thought and work that Emery put in. Emery is considered so hands-on by staff that he is as much a teacher as a coach. Players respond because they can see his ideas work and his training drills are well thought-out. They respond because they admire his seriousness, dedication and attention to detail, and how this is a product of the long hours he puts in at Bodymoor Heath.
