As an aside, the added bonus is how it's killing all our neighbours.

small heath have gone from match threads all about us when we were shit, to their thread for tonight's games not mentioning us a single time.

And our yam yam friends, it was all "mind the gap" and "levels" for a short period not too long ago, now they are celebrating us winning as it may help them avoid relegation. Mind the gap, twats.
The rightful order is being restored to the world.

First 11 games, 9 points, 6 goals.

Last 16 games, 32 points, scored in every game.

It never was the players weren't good enough, it was the twat 'coaching' them that wasn't good enough.

True but if you want to see a sign of how we continue to improve, just look at how much faster we're now moving the ball. First it learning how to pass, now it's now how to pass with confidence. In such a small space of time, it's close to miraculous.

I remember watching some of the preseason games and finding it frustrating how often we were under hitting our passes. That carried on into the season and was big part of why we never found any space. Now we have it in us to zip the ball around and use the slower play as a ractic to draw teams out.

Had a quick gander at Molineux Mix, they were cheering for us tonight and probably will have to again on Sat. :D

Yep , big time. The fact we support Aston Villa doesn't make us conceited or arrogant . We know its a privilege , through thick and thin. The most famous football club in the world.  Our nearest and dearest have the privilege  of possessing the biggest inferiority complex known to man, even when we were out on our feet or close to oblivion we are their first waking thought.

Fuck knows what  it's doing to them now.

Slight Devils advocate. It seems Emery can coach better then many in the world, not just the DJ-puncher. The interview the other day where the Watkins mentioned Emery coached him how to turn his body so he can make runs in and not be called offside is a massive reason for Ollies form at the moment. You can see the improvements as the season has gone on.

However Title-losing-Slip's plan did seem to be to tell the player to work hard, run aimlessly and at the end of the day, look him in the eye.

You’re doing him a disservice by failing to mention ‘do a bit of magic’.

Starting to think that Emery didn't want tp sign anyone in January just to prove what a fucking badman he is. Holy shit

Not even he can make Bailey good though

We're not being...lucky, are we? That's the only thing I can see being thrown at us by jealous rivals. I guess we'll have less of an element of surprise next season but we'll hopefully have 3 more Rolls Royce players by then to steamroll opposition.

What amazing is he’s never wavered from his way from the outset, he’s installed this slow, possession based build up from the back. For a team near the bottom, in a relegation scrap, with no identity or confidence to take this approach is quite incredible. He’s obviously drilled the players but also fed a belief that this is the way and made them believe it too.

At times it still scares the shit out of me, but generally we look extremely solid on the ball and that’s not a thing I’ve been able to say for such a long time.

I'd like to see Emery coach Bailey in how to use his body to 'play professional football'.

Nah, nothing to do with luck.

It's precisely the lack luck that's amazing me. The results alone are staggering, but the performances and control that is growing, I've never seen in a Villa team.

I still think he would be better on the left so that he can cross it first time . He really does just stand on his right foot

Those unconvinced by the playing out from the back thing might want to watch the Watkins goal and how it came about.
