We've just played the top two. I'm still more pissed off about the Leicester and Stevenage defeats.

That's where I am as well.

Good grief, I don't have a problem with it, Unai didn't want him to go up and said as much, big deal, it didn't cost us the game!

Ultimately Emery will make us a better footballing side. Temporarily we will have to put up with the continually crap defending from Konsa, errors from Mings and distribution from Cash. They were signed from Bournemouth, Brentford and Notts Forest and had never played a minute of Premier League football. If they're still the backbone of our defence in another 6 months then we have a problem and the truth is we don't have the intention of realistically breaking the top half.

Emery is going to improve us hugely when he’s able to build his own squad.

There is too much losing mentality and mediocrity in this current squad.

Tyrone played 17 times for Bournemouth in the Premier League but I take your point.

Yes, some of you are absolutely right. Selling Ings was a great deal. It was a great deal for an insurance company, it was a shite deal for a football club intending to be competitive against its rivals in the League.

We are at the beginning of one of the biggest transformations the club and team will have gone through, probably ever.

It’s going to bumpy, but eventually we are going to be miles, miles better because of it.

As Unai noted, statistics show that goalkeepers rarely score.
People being let down by Emery, who values teamwork over individualism, is incredibly annoying.

He called him out correctly. I'm not going to talk about it any longer since the folks that are here do not want to recognise or comprehend the ethos of Emery.
Martinez is at fault. I saw this coming with Martinez and its laughable to put any criticism of Emery now.
I'm taking a break!

Yes, how dare we ask questions about a manager doing managerial things!

See you when you next feel like pulling a Hendrie & saying "I told you so"...

The proof of that will most definitely be in the pudding.

And so far, it tastes like shit...

I’m not running out of patience - that’d be fucking ridiculous. He needs to improve, but fucking hell he’s only been in since November.

Needs to improve quickly as well.  Eight points clear of the bottom 3 and hemorrhaging goals at the moment.  Everton coming up next.  Absolutely must win game

It’s not must win. It won’t be ideal if we don’t win, but it’s not “must” win.

It’s daft calling him out in public on it. If you’ve got a problem deal with it in house. In any case I think Emery is wrong here.

Even in these recent defeats, I see shoots of where we need to be. That’s why I’m reasonably calm about another loss today. When Gerrard was here, there was nothing.

Unai will absolutely take us where we want to be given time. Excited to see who he brings in, and to see the revolution continue next season.

I hope now he realises we don’t have defenders to play out from the back, especially vs top 2 team in the league.

You would think the penny would drop after the capitulation against Leicester wouldn't you?  But no, Emery decides he knows better.  Really am running out of patience with this manager and his stubborness.  Three defeats on the spin, all 100% on him
Well, that and bang average players maybe??

Wins, draws and losses are all 100% on the manager, that's the point really.

But you (or more pertinently I) can see what this Manager is trying to achieve and therefore patience is what is required.
I felt exactly the same about the previous Manager, until the first game of this season where it was blinding obvious that things were never going to change.

I really hope history doesn't repeat itself .
