Yeh and made us look small time. Nobody is saying you can’t be annoyed if we played really poorly or we are expected to win games and we are not. But some of our fans need to take a look at themselves. Booing a 1-0 HT scoreline in a PL game. Get a grip

In years gone by, booing your team off was reserved for especially bad times.  That's changed though and it's pretty commonplace at every ground when there are poor performances, even poor halves.  It's not something I agree with or partake in, but it happens at pretty much every club.

Nobody can point the finger at our fans. That said, there hasn't really been a satisfactory explanation as to why the FA Cup is supposed to be the Holy grail for our supporters, the only one we are missing in the set so to speak hence the anger all over villa websites, yet the atmosphere wasn't there on Sunday. The first half of the Wolves game came a few days after a really good win at Tottenham. Its almost as if those that booed forgot about that and also let's be honest, Wolves did play very well in that first half. Maybe we just have our very own impatient Tarquins, who knows?

Or maybe folk who spent over £50 for a ticket to see us entertain Wolverhampton bloody Wanderers have the right to vent their opinion when we've been played off the park for 45 minutes.

I totally get the booing on Sunday after the final whistle, even from those that paid nothing to get in. Booing at half time when only 1-0 down? Nah, that was just Tarquin-esque, however much you'd paid.
