Weird isn't it? You can't give it the big 'un about being the biggest club in the world or whatever and be surprised when people are extra-happy to beat you. Like, when we lost to Bradford etc in the cups it never shocked me that they were happier to beat us than Chesterfield, say.

Their celebrations at Villa Park down the last 25 years have been notably over-zealous, considering at no time have we been genuine rivals with them.

For me, it's because there's a huge overlap with (*spits*) Brummie Reds and Bluenoses, and it's basic noses getting a proxy win over us.

Yeah that's it, it's like the scrawny little suck-up crowing away with the bully. The bully's sad little sidekick. Not even real hamsters.

Cucks. Cucks are what they are. The Stripeys are just as bad, no fucking pride in themselves.

Watching the few that were left trudge out yesterday they certainly reminded me of Small Heath when they leave Villa Park. Quiet and dejected.

It's true, it's one thing to be a bit chippy, that's fine, but the obsession to the point of fawning over Manchester Reds is just...lame. SAD

There are most certainly not good people on both sides.

To expand a little, this is the difference between us and all of our nearest and dearest, including the dogheads.

We've never given up like they have. We haven't had decades plodding around in the lower reaches, never allowed ourselves to view the top flight as a seperate entity that we can enjoy despite us not taking part.

There was a point made about Gerrard, I can't remember who made it, but it was that whatever Gerrard had acheived as a player meant absolutely fuck all to Villa fans because he hadn't done it in our shirt, and it was bang right.

The only thing that matters is the Villa, forever and always. Other club's successes are merely footnotes in between ours.

Nailed on Gary Lineker’s opening line tonight will be ‘Good Ebening’ the big eared twat.

I don’t think he’ll say it again after getting ratiod the way he was when he tweeted it.

It's one of the few times (in fact I can't remember any) when we have easily beaten a team that was involved in a Europa League game on Thursday before. Was some of this due to Unai being a "specialist Europa League manager" according to some and  knew how to hit them tactically?

Indeed bro.
I can appreciate his greatness via skill and drive on the pitch but not any trophies he won with another club. Whatever he won with Liverpool meant the Villa didn't win that and that must always irk an Aston Villa  fan.

All that's required for Jeremy Clarkson to triumph is that Richard Hammond do nothing.

I loathe gloryhunters, but I particularly detest 'Brummie Reds' - imagine being one of them, the no-pride, 'granny from Manchester' vile wankers.

Being one of them and then actually giving it large to Brummies actually supporting their local team.

I'd gladly paint the ****** with a big Z and send them to the front.

Absolutely the worst of the worst. Civic traitors, attempting to mask a complete lack of spine with a bit of reflected glory.

I'll never forget what it was like in Brum when they won their first title in 20 odd years in '93. Absolutely every pub in the city seemed to be rammed with them. They are the lowest of the low by some distance, I've got miles more respect for SHA fans than those wankers, although I imagine there's probably a fair amount of overlap in the two camps.

A real hero of mine as a kid, banging in all them World Cup goals etc. Such a disappointment now that the bloke is such a fucking arse hole.
