I'm waiting for the presser on facebook and the sheer amount of fucking morons posting 'good ebening' as if it's either clever, funny or original is fucking embarrassing, bunch of thick cu*ts.

I thought the same thing.  Weirdos.
And as above that's very disappointing people are making fun of Emery English when perhaps they can't speak another language fluently.
Hopefully it's something that will be phased out

Thing is, his English is fine, he just has an accent. These are the same people who, up until it became risky to do so in public, found stupid head-wobbling Indian impressions funny. Because Emery is white they reckon they can get away with it.

His English seemed to be a lot better there than in the interview with Pravda.

Anyway, yes, he loves Cups and wants to win us one! That's what we want too! Come on!

Yes, much easier to hear what he was saying today. Give it a few weeks and I reckon he'll improve no end.

I thought he spoke well and he seems to have a clear idea of how he is going to make us successful

His personal dream and challenge is to win a cup with Aston Villa and second is to have Aston villa in Europe.
Wonderful!

I noted that Purslow said Emery will work with the owners on the first team and youth too.

And that ITV Central reporter asking him where he'd learnt English as he'd heard from Peaky Blinders.... I despair.

There is a clip doing the rounds from when he was at Arsenal saying he was watching English TV to help pick up the language and he specifically referenced Peaky Blinders.

Backroom team confirmed https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2022/november/04/villa-confirm-unai-emery-s-backroom-team/

Ayestaran, Villanueva and Garcia as expected. Good!

The 'further annonucements' line at the end is interesting, I wonder if the plan is to add someone else who might be busy for the next month or 2. Of course it could be about what happens to Danks.

To be fair Emery said that himself in an interview a while ago.

I thought the question was meant to be about whether watching peaky blinders had made it easier for him to understand the brummie accent but it was really poorly worded and sounded a lot dumber than he intended.

Probably more data/video analysts if the article Drummond posted is anything to go by. All good so far though.
