I enjoyed that video on Pravda. It was nice to see the players on a pitch and not losing.

It's nice to see Olly finding the back of the net.

It was good to see him making contact with the ball, let alone finding the net.

I saw nigh on 98% Villa possession too. Very encouraging.

Unai carrying the dummy wall around himself as well. No Bibs and Cones for him.

Interesting it’s Nasef not Purslow

That photo right there is a thing of beauty and the fact that CP is not in it makes it all the more so. I'm so happy I can ignore the trouser situation (that LeeB pointed out) and even view it as cute. Let the honeymoon begin! UTV!

It shouldn't have, as I do like Ollie, but that comment made me laugh.

I hope he finds a bit of form under Emery.

Jiminy Cricket, there was more coaching by Señor Emery in that 3 minute video than Gerrard managed in 11 months.

It's odd that Gerrard wasn't more physically involved. You'd think direct coaching would have naturally suited him more than observer instead of delegating the nitty gritty to Beale.

I’ve heard that his nickname at Villa was David Brent.

I don't think Gerrard is intelligent enough to coach. He has always come across as a simpleton.

Also Ironically his favourite song is ‘I’m a one man band’ by little Leo Sayer
amazing when you think about it

Reminds me of Gregory at his 1st training session when he set up the cones

Hopefully Unai will get the same result in his first game as Gregory did.

Gerrard’s game was all about grabbing things by the scruff of the neck and forcing it through sheer will power and ability. Why anybody thought he could be a good coach/ manager at this stage is not clear. Even as a player tactics weren’t his forte, he’d just leg it everywhere, kick everything in sight and sometimes score a worldy.

Good to see we might have a man with a plan and a tight team around him.

How long are we going to let this guy troll the forum?

Honest question.

We need agitators. And FootyVill and Ads are great losses even if their form has been patchy. Apparently we've slipped to 16th in the Forums table, mirroring our own football team.
I agree, forums are boring if everyone just agrees with eachother all the time. I want H&V to be competing against European forums. We mustn't sleepwalk in to relegation and end up having people on the Bristol City discussion board endlessly discuss H&V's finances.
