I bet they didn't tell Purslow they'd got Emery, and he was left embarrassed when he found out whilst meeting Sean Dyche at Leicester Forest East services.

Seeing Unai neck-deep in training today running around with the players and delivering instructions is a thing of beauty.

Never thought I would be so grateful for a manager to take part in a training exercise.

That's acute little story.

He wanted to cover all the angles.

Angles was the word that started the punathon, you therefore can't use the word itself. In any case, I believe Paulie used that word in a deliberately ironic way, so it shouldn't be used as a the basis for puns.

Sorry Alex, them's the rules, I don't make them up. (Even if I just have.)

Don't blame Alex, it was just a reflex.

After having a break for a few days of anything Aston Villa after that atrocious performance Saturday I had a quick look on the villa pages and seen some footage of our new head coach on the training pitch.

Seems very involved and demanding. I have a bad feeling about this with the players we have at the club. The fixtures look absolutely horrifying before the winter break and we could be out of the cup and in the bottom 3 . They don't get much easier from the restart either. Unai Emery certainly has his work cut out .

That's why he's gotten a 4 year contract.

Go take another break.

if the players don't like Emery being involved and demanding then they can fuck off.

The 'square' was directed at CD. Plenty of angles in a square.
