Has there been a presser yet??

I would imagine (well, hope) that he'll be out on the grass with the players for a little while yet?

No it’s all been a bit low-key. Wonder if the owners are a bit embarrassed by the Gerrard gamble and now just want to get back on track with no fuss

Apparently Emery met the players this morning and told them to roll their sleeves up, go again and become the best version of themselves

It’s good to have a new man with new ideas about

a man that doesn't need a #2 to carry the workload.

Sawiris is said to have led the search for a new manager, pulling rank on Purslow.

I think we will see CP moved to leading the ground redevelopment and not having anything to do with the playing side over the next few weeks.

Totally agree.. and that's where he should be. Let him deal with the expansion of the global brand, match day engagement and commercial sales. I can't imagine he and the owners are on great terms right now.

It's inauspicious but I don't think we should jump to any Xia-like conclusions.

I heard he said "Listen, I need you all to step forward"

They all then did step forward, he took a step back, but he'd motivated them so brilliantly with that tactic that the squad kept on stepping forward, with him having to keep stepping backward, that they all eventually left the confines of BMH and tumbled into the HS2 works next door, whereupon they were all run over and killed by a passing tunnel boring machine.

RIP Unai and the players* - now you are in heaven with the angles.

* not so much the players, they're all not good enough anyway, so who cares.

Big Nas clearly has zero fucks left to give. Tired of the shit he’s seen has taken more control. He fired Gerrard and along with Wes funded the capture of a top manager. No more pissing about watching his money being flushed away
