I once went down too far in the stairwell at the chambers offices opposite the law courts on Corporation St. Ended up in the underground car park with the door shut behind me and zero phone signal. I had to wait until someone drove into the car park about an hour later to get out. Being a field engineer meant having these sort of experiences in alien surroundings every single day.
