Not technically true, is it, as different pitches have different widths?

Welcome Mr Emery, I now have a head of grey hair, hopefully the same can’t be said for you in 12 months time. The first Villa Manager I remember was Joe Mercer,  who went on to be successful with Man City yes I know!  We have churned out Managers on a regular basis, only two in my lifetime have I thought this is the one. Tommy Docherty, show business personified you should have been there, and Gerard Houllier success sure fire thing, they both failed for different reasons. you could say I’m not a good judge so maybe my caution will be rewarded with success.

Best of luck Unai, be brilliant and never lose a game, whilst you are our Manager.

Looking forward to seeing Michelle interview him on Villa TV.

Beating Yanited at home in the league for the first time in many fans' lives would urn him a lot of goodwill with them.

No photos of him arriving at Bodymoor, hopefully he has not changed his mind?
