I always said that the sales people who flogged Madri deserve an award, it came out of nowhere and next thing it was in every pub supermarket and outdoor.

San Miguel is better anyway.

Yeah, same as Peroni, my Italian colleague says it same as Fosters here. But put it in a fancy glass, sell it as refined continental  beer, hey presto!

Peroni hits the spot with a pizza though. It's not as good as Ichnusa, but it'll do. Wouldn't want anything too complicated with my margherita.

For some reason I've got the Herman's Hermits song "I'm 'Enery the 8th I am" stuck as an earworm today.

There are certain beers that I only have to look at for them to go flat. Peroni is one as is Amstel. Meanwhile my drinking partners pint will be frothing like the mouth of a rabid dog.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I think our Delia would neck 'em, head or no head.

Cruzcampo was a lovely beer in Seville. Drinking it , ice cold in 37 degree heat probably helped though.

I bet it'll be John sodding Terry. I've had a nice few days supporting Villa, bound to be something on its way to piss me off.

Im sitting here drinking a Madri in celebration of our new manager and i must admit Terry crossed my mind. Its probably just a lack of imagination and memory on my part, about who has played in the premier league, won the champions league and knows Emery.

I reckon it has to be somebody that speaks Spanish.

My least favourite of all the James Squires I’ve tried!

Is it telling that European Cup winner rather than Champions League winner was the term used?......
