I just want to touch his hair, it’s fucking magnificent.

C'mon Jon, the great hairline was all Gerrard had left! Show some restraint.

Unai's is probably best categorised as the Johnny Haynes of modern day managers. It's a good head of hair but John Gregory remains the doyen when it comes to Villa bosses' barnets.

I bet he spends a lot of time on it too, not only is it perfectly cut it’s luxuriantly wavy and shiny too,  I suspect his Mediterranean diet helps.

Do we know his view on ketchup for the players? I’m reserving judgment until then

Hopefully the view is it’s for children and fat Americans.

Like hell it is, he doesn't take charge until 1/11. Till then, it's ketchup discourse.

Theres an interview with Guilem  Balague on the Claret and Blue podcast.

He knows Emery very well and is incredibly complimentary about him - it's well worth a listen.

One nugget is the assistant manager is an exciting name, a CL winner who knows the PL.  Intreagued to know who this will be?

One thing is for sure, we'll need to give him time, because even if we can't see it, the man has a plan.
