As soon as i ask it, we get some sort of answer linky

A 23 year old coach he brings with  him according to that. 23 year old, well that seems very youthful but why not.

Well, it's music to my ears.

Aston Villa: Why Unai Emery has returned to Premier League

Guilem  Balague on the BBC Sport website

 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63381575

Good article. I like the last sentence.

"Emery rejoins a Premier League as the latest addition to what is without question the strongest managerial contingent ever seen in any league in the world."

Pochettino doesn't seem to be missed.

Doesn't look like he goes to the same dentist as Klopp.

In theory it is a very good appointment.  But I will reserve judgment and not because I do not rate him, I really do and it is the something different rather than the meat and potatoes managers we always seem to opt for we have been looking for.  However, we are Aston Villa.  And if there is something possible to screw up, we will find it.  So I wish him the very best of luck.  After initial worry I am now sold on him and his managerial record outside say Europes elite is amazing.  And those ungrateful tarquins at Arsenal lost a very good manager that laid the foundations for Arteta's success.  When I thought he had been a failure I had not realised how close he had got them to the top 4 and the final etc.

Following Wenger was as much of a poison chalice as following Ferguson, and Arsenal weren't as good as Man U at the time.

Just one other thing I notice Mendes was involved in setting up the deal to bring him here.  That will have those Dingles seething even more than they already are when they find that out.

He's really likeable, always happy to have a joke with the press.  There's a clip where he answered a reporters phone when it rang during a conference.

I really respect that he continued to conduct all interviews in English even though he was being mocked a bit, and has continued to try to improve.  So long as he can get a few results fairly quickly I think fans will love him.

There's not many open minded and quality pundits out there at the moment.  On Talksport I'd say only Laura Woods and Simon Jordan speak any real sense.  For all the dislike they get I also think Neville and Carragher are worth listening to.  Sue Smith and Steven Warnock aren't too bad.  I used to really like Liam Rosenior when we were in the Championship - he was a class above.  Have I missed any?

Definitely Woods and Jordan, and I’d probably add in Hawksbee & Jacobs. Sam Matterface is not bad either even though he’s mostly a commentator. I actually think Max Rushden and Barry Glendenning are capable of intelligent conversation when they’re not playing the irreverent card. But on the whole you may as well just read the Sun

He'll be able to communicate fine with Buendia and Coutinho, and if he can get those two firing in the same team we'll finish top half.
does he speak Portuguese?

Coutinho speaks Spanish.

Brazilians normally can speak both Portuguese and Spanish. Portuguese can speak/understand Spanish (Castellano) but Spanish can't speak/understand Portuguese. It's a strange one but may come down to the number of dialects in Spain. They're generally not very good with other languages. Communication is the only doubt I have regarding Unai. That said Bielsa who could speak English (though not fluent) preferred to let somebody translate for him as he is a bit of a perfectionist and wanted every single word fully understood.
