Don't know if it's been mentioned on here before, but there's a photo on his Instagram of him on the team bus coming back from the game. Man's a workaholic. Here's a link, if it works for you

Think that's the third time it's been posted but it bears repeating. :)

Yep. He'd have to be fucking mental to join Chelsea. As would any other manager who values their dignity and sanity.

Graham Potter's just walked away with the thick end of £30m and will stroll into a job at a similar sized club to the one he left to join them.

The guy they sacked last time has just got the gig at Bayern Munich after getting a £13m payout.

I'd argue it's the job every manager should want. All the football failure reward without any of the blame.

They've all got more money than they could ever spend no matter where they work.

Sure, by our impoverished standards. But these people are doing all this to do a job and get paid. I'd take tens of millions to be a failure at Chelsea over a few million to be a relative success at Brighton any day.

If we hadn't doubled Emery's Villarreal salary he wouldn't be here making us better than we've been in yonks, however much we'd like to think it's due to his love of the game and Corinthian spirit.

Did he turn down the Newcastle job? I would imagine that was well renumerated

He's bought into us now though.
Or if Chelsea double his wages would he leave?
I don't think so.

I think it was more to do with them jumping the gun on announcing/leaking it rather than attack of conscience from our man.

Talksport on at about 9am this morning and Laura Woods was on about the Chelsea vacancy and said sorry Villa fans but she thinks Unai is the perfect fit. Well Laura love you can jog on....

She is lovely but I don't appreciate this.

Doubt I'll take her to Nandos now.
